100 Bastards – Sentient Bastard

#88 here.  Big thanks to Brooke for not only giving me the idea for this one, but for getting me into Harlan Ellison, which this references very obviously one of Ellison’s short stories. (bonus points to anyone who comments with the name of the story; Brooke is exempt however :P )

Sentient Bastard
(It was actually somewhat difficult to make a machine look ‘sinister’; but I think I’m pretty happy with it.)

I don’t recognize the story, but tentacles and cables that look like tentacles are always ALWAYS sinister. Win.

I believe this references Harlan Ellison’s short story “I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream”, and the evil computer is the character AM. I really enjoy your work. I was wondering, is any of this done on computer in a graphic program with a pad, or is all hand worked and then scanned or photographed? Thanks!
